Since Christmas its been a tad hectic with life, and i haven't been able to craft as much as i would like to

me making excuses ERM probably lol

So starting this weekend i am going to settle down on the new desk being drawn up ( dad hurry up)

My ideas are brimming and i have wrote loads down so i can start with the cards, scrap pages and atcs and had some fantastic Birthday presents which have helped me out

this is a photo from my new camera its a nikon s3000 which Nick brought me and i have to admit its one of the best cameras i have had yet.

Clover i cant upload any photos as she is always asleep

but soon there will be new projects and new stuff uploaded

Challenges on crafter's corner last month

Been a busy month for my card making which I'm happy about as finally my head is clearing and I'm starting to see crafting ideas again.

I decided to enter a few challenges in the forum i use and i use it a lot as its a great friendly site and so many friends in it

No cards or atcs or scrapbooks was to be used so got me thinking

finally i decided on an old clip for my hair and an booklet with a magnet strip on it

8 year anniversary card

Made this card for nick as its our 8 year anniversary on Monday

Its a simple image from my library matted and layered onto paper-mania Jessie Edwards range

and added a peel off and on the corner a little blue bird flew onto the card so i thought it can stay there.

This isn't clover as she's always alseep

Football Card

Starting to feel the ideas come back now. as i haven't really got many cards to make for people at the moment i offered to help a friend out on a forum i'm on with some cards for the charity she helps out with.

This is the 2nd one so far its from the new do-crafts range of new stamps called football mad by J Byars.

I was a little daunted as im not used to using stamps of this nature so i used a basic cards stock to stamp on to with a Archival ink ( coffee) and heat set it didn't think it needed heat embossing with clear powder.

i kept the papers clean line with some stamping up card in a brown and green and a darker green card stock matted and layered

Used some ribbon from some old chocolates added some glitterations dots as they make it look at bit more special

and lastly used the sentiment stamp sent with love

Have Fun

this is the 1st card i have made using my pro markers

as you can see i have been trying to experiment I'm hoping i did the stamp justice

The stamp was from pink gems designs

the sentiment was from do-crafts nostalgia era set

the card stock is paper mania new range

punch was the bargain Martha Stewart which is very pretty

added some gems on the corners of the sentiments and also the crown and her bow

The balloon was cut out separate and i added some silver cord on as the tie

also used glitter glue on the wings to add some bling

pro-markers colours used

blush - skin tone

lilac for the bow and the present and socks

baby pink for the dress

blender pen to add lighter colour

and metallic silver for the shoes

I'm pretty happy with my 1st attempt

i admit the stamp was an image that i caught from the net and colured with pens and layered all the hammer paintbrush,saw and screwdriver

This was the 2nd scrapbook page i did

The papers was from do crafts co-ordinations
the little tags was peel offs which i cut around and added a little Teddie and a swirl and some ribbon
The Isabelle was cut using my cuttle bug
the image of the teddy bear was a digital scrap
peel offs was used again down the side of the image so i could add the date when Isabelle was borne
used a little circle sentiment from the PC and made it smaller to punch out and added a little brad which said" sweetie"
finally a cuttle bug embossing folder which was the baby image but only wanted the wording

I really enjoyed making these and i think more will be added soon x

This is the 1st scrapbook page i have managed to do, This was thanks to Margret and her great tutorial on Cr afters Corner, its one forum i am forever on there and we are all such a great online team they are like extended family.

The 12x12 papers was from do crafts co-ordinations and also stamping up
the green paper was do crafts range
matted and layered onto the same base paper
the butterflies was from a digital scrap kit which i made smaller and layered them a few times
and lastly the journaling was from a digital scrap kit as well which i added the words on and the printed out a few times

I wanted to keep it simple for my 1st one and i found it a challenge but fun

Tree for all seasons

This is from the stamps from Judith

you get a basic tree and you can add anything to the bottom that you wish to, in this case i added the bowl with some floats and hooks on
the little stamps come from Judith as well but the fishing rod was see D's and the stars was as well

the fathers day stamp was from Inca stamps

i had this paper from the goodybag which i got on saturday, as much as the stamp is not for me the rest is. This paper has little bits of glitter on it and soon as i saw the paper i had to make this card

its from one sheet the butterflies was cut out and i used the pinflair glue to make the stand out
added a cuttlebug die " so kind" and added a gem

New camera

On a whim i brought a new camera as my old digital crappy thing was dying, i couldn't zoom or it wouldn't take pictures all the time so i brought a new one.
Not really had time to play but took these in the garden yesterday and the sun was out and got some good photos.

Wales and things

After putting off the visit to wales due to my ill health and the fact of emptying the caravan would mean getting rid of some more of Nicks moms things, wasn't that easy to face.

we decided to go yesterday and empty the caravan, we got there at 1030am the weather was lovely with temperatures hitting 17°C which was lush, if the caravan was up to it, i wouldn't have come home but the caravan was infested with mice and as much i will be sad to see the old caravan gone i will be so glad when we get a new one

With me feeling low lately i decided to go get my hair trimmed but they offered me free red streaks so i said yes and had a few in my fringe but they moved it to the other side for a change so i need to train it now

Sweet 16 Card

Sweet 16 card

One of my friends daughters is 16 soon, and me being off work. I decided to try a sweet 16 card. The images was from a set i brought a while back and all the images are lush I'm hoping i have done them justice. I used the stamping up paper stash Lisa sent me and i got them today and added a few little gems on the pink flower paper to add some sparkle. The image was then layered a few times and i added some shimmering glitter to the headband so you can still see the pink on it, added some gloss onto the lips and eyes and the bottle of pop and the bags :) For the sentiment i printed it out and matted and layered onto the same paper and the mirror board and found some embellishments from lake land which fit perfectly with the theme. Lastly i used my bug and cut the 16 out which i added at the top right , now just has to dry then i can send it out. Thanks for taking the time to look x

finally i have finished all my 121 swaps and the last one is drying, I'm hoping when my flutter-fly goes to USA that it will remain raised up
Been a weird week as been ill with my ibs, had a few very down parts and a few hours when the cramps are easing so been able to sit here craft with a water bottle on my tummy, sounds strange but it helps, The tablets are helping me as well now I'm playing the waiting game with work for the results i so need, to put this to an end and get back to my job.

the above is a white butterfly, i had problems thinking about this one so i got the x cut punch out did a few layers added with some beads and it sort of come together.

the orential one was made smaller with MCS and some peel offs and then a bookmark fan on some acitate.

121 atc swaps for Marianne

Below is one of the swaps i have agreed to do with Marianne its my versions
This was a challenge as i knew what i wanted to do but the colours i couldnt find the image, after looking most of the morning i found this in my files and knew straight away that i loved it and had to use it.

the above atc is called friends, the image was a lady in a field of flowers with a little butterfly on so i made it smaller and layered it up. used some pink and black card stock and a pink ribbon with some silver gems on and a do crafts silver peel off flower . the acetate wrap was made and so that i could put the swirl accent on and the flower and added a few more gems. Marianne wanted this as a surprise i really hope she will love it as much as i do.

the next one is the oriental which the image was screaming out to be used so i got some nice card stock and layered it up added some peel offs and gems and some glaze and then set to work on the wrap, this was folded over and i used an eyelet to close it up with a coin ( from my candle don't tell nick lol) added a gold peel off of a building added some glaze and some gems.

The last one was an animal the cat is trying to rest but the pesky mice are playing on the tail and using it as a slide lol
added some paws background paper and a peel off ball of string and some paws peel offs and theacetatee wrap was used to have the peel off sentiment which says"I'm just resting my eyes" which i foundamazingg and adefoo for thisatcc

I really hope she will like these

The above atc is for Sarah, as i would hate to see her left out when cammy gets the card and the keyring so i added this little hello in as well, The image is one from my ever growing library.
i added some glitter from hobby art the really fine stuff.
layered it up a few times and used a simple hello stamp from stamping up and a simple little brad from paper mania

The atc above is for Yvonne who passed her exams, the image was from the PC but I'm sure its a penny black stamp which as soon as i an source it i will buy it i think :)

As you can see been busy alot of the daymade this simple keyring to go with the batman card.

Used an old keyclip and a ring added some gold chain and some shrink plastic images which went with the card.
The images was printed straight onto shrink plastic and it dried really quick i hope the images stay on there for a while.

I remembered while looking through all my emails that i owed Sarah's Child i think his names Cammy a batman card ( been so useless lately)
so i set to work and designed an easel card and some batman themed images as i know he likes it.

I kept the colour scheme clean with black card and yellow card stock ( we wont go into backing white card onto black paper when i had card stock in black ( dippy moi )

I tripled embossed the bat on the front of the card but i so need some new clear embossing powder as mine has flecks of silver in :( used some 3d foam pads to layer it so it looks more stand out. added a batman title to it and covered it in glaze, had to open a new one as i misplaced my old stock and I'm fuming as i cant find it!!!!

Added an batman and joker image on the back so it looked completed. All i need to do now is let it dry and try get my shrink plastic through my printer as its not erm printable shrink plastic lol ( thats for the keyring im going to try make)

least I'm thinking more positive now my ibs is still bad and I'm still stressed but thanks to the call from Kelly last night and Sue on msn they are helping me through it.

Recycled Challenge

Lipton berry Tea

The challenge was to use as much as you can with recycled stuff.
So there was i hunting high and and low in the recycling box and i found a old sweet carton wrapper, and some Lipton tea i was about to throw away.

1. the Lipton tea i cut the box up and got the teabag unpicked so it made a pillow. and placed it on a atc made out of a rice box. trust me all you can smell is the berries but shame the tea tastes of nothing but water!

2. the Green gingham bush was an old card which i took the gingham and matted it onto a card atc which was made from the rice package again and i used the bush which i printed out last year which looks kinda cute, added some diamond glaze and a gem and lastly a dragon fly plastic charm

3. The sweet one was cut and matted all onto it and stuck on, I'm not that happy with it so i could make the change in the next few days if i find something suitable.

The stamps used are Hero Arts the elephant collection, which i stamped out on some different card stock and layered it up and added the little mouse called titch

This image was found in my library of images and i had to print it out so i did.

Dont bug me Challenge Atc

Don't Bug Me Challenge

The challenge was don't bug me, so after discussing in length that spiders aren't a bug i was not to sure about bee's but thought what the hell and found my pc crafter images out.i found the pc crafters images and thought Wow these will be suitable

I made a atc template out which was 10.5 inches by 2.5 inches and scored it 3 times for the atc size
I scored itand made it so it opens like an easel shaped like in January 2010 when i first started to make them,
I printed out some honeycomb's background paper from the pc crafter images and matted it onto some orange card stock
I cut the " don't bug me " onto some hard card stock and layered it up a few times so it gave the stop for the easel slipping off.
Then layered the bees house on to the atc and added a few bee's which i admit i added a few more on, lastly i added some bumble bear images on the back so it didn't look bear.

I added diamond glaze some stickles clear glitter glue and some gems onto the atc to add dimension

May butterfly of the month

This is with the stamping up set Flight of the butterfly and the punch also from stamping up which is heavy! but if i get robbed i can hit them over the head with it so 2 in one tool Yay

I stamped the "if nothing ever changed there would be no butterflies" i love this sentiment and i love all butterflies at the moment. this was stamped onto some mint card stock and embossed with some clear embossing powder.
i then punched the butterfly out 4 times in 4 different contrasting colours and some dots on velum which i had ages ago and never used. layered together using diamond glaze and added 3 green beads for the body.
Lastly i matted and layered it all together added a punched flower from dove craft and some gems

The images used are Gina Jane Fleurs they are very pretty watercoloured images which come to life on some decent printed paper and some card stock
Used some ribbon and some brads diamond glaze and shrink plastic. I have to admit been using stamping ups Tomboy Multi liquid glue and its fab !!!!

So sorry that i haven't been posting much, with things going on at work and home, things have been a bit of a distressing time of late.

Probate is through at last which to us means we can sell the house and get a new caravan in wales in Llwyngwril not far from Fairbourne, where his moms old caravan is and we are hoping to put some of her ashes on the bush with Nicks dads if we haven't lost the plot ( which I'm hoping we haven't)

Chloe and Clover are getting on better which is good news Chloe loves going out while Clover still is lazy as ever but she will get up and play occasionally with Chloe play fighting. seems as Chloe's ear is healed well considering we don't actually know what happened but it makes her unique lol. As you can see from the photo she seems happy enough and still manages to cause trouble

Work is still the same I'm still based at New Street Station where i hate if I'm honest and I'm so used to being busy in that job I'm not :( . The case is still ongoing which means I'm still ill on and of and as much as i was being positive and thinking the same the visit to the work doctor wasn't what i hoped, he brought it all back to life where i was ill again and this time 10 times worse so after trying not to to go see my own GP, which he is brilliant and tries to help me out with different medications and to try to stop the stress and the anxiety and so again back on tablets to try help me out. Since November i have lost about 1 stone and half my mom said not all bad but i didn't want to loose it from being ill. Im hoping the end of may we will have it all resolved and i can get back to my job as roster clerk as i really miss the signallers and the managers as much as it pains to upset me. lol but they arent all bad just proved to me who i can really trust in this job and the answer is about 4 that's very low with how many i speak and get on with but someone once said to me " when your a roster clerk everyone wants to be your friend" and trust me that's so true.

Also lost a friendship who i valued allot as she said i wasn't there for her and i was on such a downer i was being selfish and in my own world so I'm sorry Lynne x

Speaking to helen we decided to do a atc made with something on Knickers. At 1st i was daunted by it as i couldnt think of nothing but i took a pair of knickers that was going to the charity shop soon and cut and cut lol. ended up being like a pocket where u can put stuff into it, added the bow from the knickers the label and lastly some plastic dragonflies

The challenges was this month was quite hard with the fabric one, the blue one above was using a pair of knickers ( new) that i was sending to the charity shop so i hacked some off for this and also the 121 challenge with Helen . used gems fabric flowers and ribbon

The next project was colour iT, where u have to colour something in yourself so decided on this cute stap from the docrafts goody bag, the stamps are lovely i think when therest of the range comes out i might have to buy lol

But made the atc into a small wallett shaped atc to put some stamped images in

The superhero challenge made me think outside the box Dangermouse and Sherha was something i loved whena child and batman i liked the iconic following he had i still watch all the batman films now and dangermouse i want there dvds lol

Its a hard year this year with Nicks mom passing away i think it hasnt actually hit him yet, i was scared to start making the card wih the effects it could bring but with my mom going to respbite today i needed it to get to them this morning so i had no choice than to do it last night.....

Nick doesnt mention his mom at all so im scared to say something about her so im keeping stum

So sorry I haven’t been updating as much as I should do so apologies.

The projects for the atc’s for this month were Fairy Tales. Anniversaries the butterfly of the month was red and the just for fun challenge was red and gold.

Red Butterfly

The above was an image I had ages ago and loved then and when it was red the colour I had to use it didn’t i!
The lips was highlighted with diamond glaze to make It look glossy and kissable, and the butterfly was layered up so it gave it some texture and height

Gold and Red challenge

Made a simple atc with another half of one folded into it, used black card and red card and some gold thin peel off’s. The stamp was an old one from Lakelands oriental range which was pretty so I embossed it with a gold fine embossing powder and used the other stamp a small coin which was embossed onto the card.
The coins was from a shop that sells stuff quite cheaply which I took apart ages ago and added a few gems in gold.

Fairy Tales

All fairy tales I love and will love forever

Peter pan was highlighted with diamond glaze and the moon was highlighted with some stickles gold glitter and made into a book with a very short version of what happened.

The princess and the pea was an image from Google what made me smile made the crown more intense with glitter glue and some gems and made the pea stand out with some diamond glaze

Anniversaries

Gold anniversary was some gold card and used a glitter peel off round the edges and topper which was gold metal and a peel off

Silver anniversary a tatty bear printed out and layered onto some pale blue card the cake has mini gems on ( thanks to nail art gems) and the little hearts was beads on a string that moves

Sorry i haven't been about as much posting stuff but stuff to sort out and not feeling that crafty.

home stuff

The funeral went well as could be expected we was expecting 25-30 and we got 70-80 people, after the service about 5-10 people came back to the house and we was home by 6pm..

His mom's estate is in probate at the moment we haven't decided whenever to move to Sutton or stay here but one thing that we need is a new caravan to keep her memory alive and Nicks dads ashes are there.

Nick and i are slowly getting things sorted and plans for the future and now having both cats are very trying at times but also they make me smile as chole is a joker and so playful.

i had my return to work yesterday which was very worrying due to the anxiety i felt about the place and my boss and if the stuff what was happening would happen again and being honest i just didnt want to be there. BUT My main manager mentioned about a temporary transfer from rosters to new street station offices to help them out due to sickness etc. i decided that i should do it as it was temporary and will give me thinking time.....

im going to get my life back and start afresh and hopefully the boss problems will go away or i can get a permanent transfer

Thank you and Friendship cards

with Nicks mom passing recently has made me realise how many friends supported me. I may not have met you all but you are still friends in my eyes.

so i have decided to make some cards get back into card making these are the 1st 2 cards i have made which are going out in the post today

Image was penny black which being honest i tagged of the net and printed out added some dimond glaze to bring the flowers out and some stickles glitter glue diamond. the stamp was from stampendous the paperw was from the new forever friends range and the little broaches i brought a few from a sale and added that to say thanks

The other card which i managed to do. image from the pc which i love this image so much printed it onto some decent card stock. and use diamond glaze to highlight the butterfly
a ribbon to match the colour papers was from the do crafts picnic range and the stamp was do crafts forever fiends pink parfait range

There will be more coming up the next few days and some blog candy as well x

just for fun challenge (coffee)

on the atc group i am with we was asked for the just for fun challenge to use something that we would throw away
using the coffee box and the coffee kit scrap set i printed out and thought of chucking in the bin, i decided to go all out and do this

In the photo above i have used a sachet of vanilla coffee and use the pre printed tag and papers and wrapped it up ( u wouldn't guess it was coffee)

Then made the coffe front page was the image and i used 3d gloss to make the coffee lettering show up
the 2nd page was out of the box i cut the label out as well as instructions to use and the nestle sign matted and layered
lasly a simple tag which was already printed out layered onto some mirror board

used my cropadile to punch eyelets holes added the eyelets which wasn't all the right colours so they was in my oddments box a odd bit of ribbon and all done

Most of you know that nicks mom is ill with terninal cancer and is in hospital and she is pretty high on morphine, Its not looking good as to get her out of hospital at the moment.

is there any possibility i could ask a big favour and get some people from pcu and the craft blogs to make her some cards to cheer her up

i know everyone is busy with Christmas etc but she is really down and I would like to cheer her up somehow

with this in mind, if anyone can do this i am prepared to get a craft goodie bag onto my blog to say thanks to all who can help me with this

I messured a die which was roughly the width but not the height and thought stuff it im gonna send it on and see what happens as thats me

Most people know that the last few months have been a little trying on anyone's patience with my job issues and other friends that enjoy using me and me being stupid let them!!!!

As we run a airsoft club which most of the management team are people who help out alot on game days with the hiring of the air soft guns or the shop and the likes. i have been running the shop now for little over a year which i have to admit some times i like and some times i dont!!!

but lately we have had a fuck wit who hasn't been at the club for ages and we know is ill which is ok as he is ill and cant attend a meeting or a game day cant be bothered to log on to the club website and make apoloigies then we find out he has been working and when i asked him about working etc he said yep and he cant be bothered to log onto the club website. this is the person who we spent 100.00 on a 1st aid course and the silly man cant be arsed t come back and when he was skint it was the club who gave him the money to go to away game. so i said something and he ignored me again and again....

2 weeks ago most of you know nick smom was diagnosed with cancer we was told that it was terninal and she will die. not good at all and then i asked everyone not to send jokes and stuff which could offend me or upset and he didn't listen once he just carried it on and on to the point that i had a go and now it seems the management team want to keep him. I feel like we are justa running joke and feel like cancelling helping out the shop, i make a bit of money but for a 12 houir day and 3 hours teh night before making food i dont think its worth it now

sorry for the eant as you can see im pissed off and pretty angry x

Matchbox challenge PCU

The theme was a matchbox challenge. to alter it decorate it and fill as many cards in as you could,
when i painted the matchbox i wasn't happy with the colour it came out nor when i papered it so me being me decided that i would make my own boxes. Below shows you the photo of many boxes i tried to get the design right and finally after about 6 boxes i decided on it.
but they make great storage containers lol

So Sorry i have not been on for ages but i haven't been crafting or doing anything crafty of late.

Went back to work as planned after my Ibs and stress went better and the meeting to get things sorted got me back to work which i was so happy all went well. went back to work after being away for a few days in Wales which to be honest the fresh air did me the world of good but the weather was very hit and miss so we came home on the wed night as it was doing my head in.

Work wise has been still busy and feels like nothing changes there being honest im still working hard but i don't think i want to be doing it 5 years down the line but we will see

i feel bad that i joined the stampers 10 and so far i haven't made a card but i will have to get my ass into gear and start as i know christmas will be here soon and ill be in a mad rush doing cards again

This weekend has been spent at bassetts pole doing the whole air soft weekend, i have to admit it was fantastic to relax chill and see people i don't always see and there was a fair bit of drinking done opps!

the paper was from a scrap kit from nitwits I think
the stamp " life is full of new beginnings" is made by Hampton art stamps
the image was a psp tube which i fell in love with and used diamond glaze to raise some of the image up
the feet are brads coloured with a blue pigment pad and embossed with clear embossing powder

Ramblings

Mom was taken into hospital yesterday morning at 8am. My dad said she was feeling poorly and not very well, so to be safe they dialled 999 and got the emergency services out. I got a call from work at 1230 ish which i was told it was just low blood pressure and not to worry.
had a really rough few days at work but that's a diff story my only point on this is i need to get out of there asap.
got home about 545 which is allot later than normal as a meeting i was dragged in went on longer than normal and it wasn't a good meeting and i was angry and upset anyway and that just topped of my day!

rang dad and he was going back to the hospital as mom was poorly and she was very confused asking for her mom and wanting to go home ( shes in no state to go home)
my dad then got upset and angry and told my mom that she needs to stay put or it could end up like last time!!
i hate to see my dad upset my mom ill and i was in a state.

she has a water infection which has caused the confusion the low blood pressure and the general mom not being well.

I'm off work today as i didn't sleep and not had much sleep and to be honest work is the least of my problems right now

hope every ones week is going better than mine x

Haven't been able to make any cards or start my little atc's or any other crafting at the moment

As much as work has calmed down there is still issues at work i am not happy about and i still feel that i am being picked on and I'm feeling very down about it. which has made me start logging anything which is happening at work, which is something i don't want to do as i makes me look like i am nit picking but we will see.

the weekend has been changed i was going to make some cards and a 3d pram as my niece gets christened this weekend but alas we haven't been able to attend due to nicks uncle who is dying from cancer being rushed into hospital on Saturday morning, so ha vent been able to start thing as the worrying of having to rush off!

Last night i marinated some fresh salmon in a lime and corinder sauce and baked it into a steam foil bag thingy and served with some peas and jersey mids they was fantastic !

Today the chicken is defrosting and will eat that later when we are back from the hospital.

Been at work since 7.40 am so i can make a start on all the boring admin we have to do ( which my fault as i didnt keep up to date opps) All the rosters have been published apart from the South mom ( mobile operations manager)

Been a funny old week as Boss has been away on leave so the office has been happy stressfree and generally a better athosphere. which makes me think that it wasnt all in my head now and that things have been happening. but the light has been made and hopefully we will be seeing changes in the office soon and i can just be a happy bunny!

Most of you know that we run a site in Bassetts Pole for airsoft its like paintball but the guns are air guns and the bulletts are little centermetre clay things which hurts when they hit you! so we have had to cancel the big game booked in august as we didnt get enough people so we have had to cancel which has kicked off on that forum, so me being me has been keeping an eye on the forum making sure noone is saying things they shouldnt and the likes :(

Thats my week boring busy and hassled lol

Hope lynne is getting ok with her home improvments and sorry i havent been about to chat

Evening all

Nothing much to say Spoke to the rep on Saturday night and he seems to think the same as me and is looking into the things i have mentioned to him. I didn't really want to get a rep involved as i didn't think i needed it to be honest, but the more i have thought about it i thought why wouldn't i! I mean i pay the subs out my wages which is about £12.00 a month and when i need the support i should be asking them and not assuming i can cope on my own.

My boss is my boss she is caring to a extent but i feel that she should have done more and told me more about the certain roster involved and then i wouldn't be this stressed this worked up about it and yet its my own stupid fault!!!!! yep I'm on a negative drive at the moment, the only thing keeping me normal is crafting Nick and the cat who is still fat as ever and sleepy

Tomorrow i am worrying about what could or would happen before its even got here, I have done my lunch and i am going to work hard as normal and keep my head down.

i hope you like my new title of my card blog this i made myself in psp tonight

Anyway I'm going to go and have a drink and chill before going to sleep

sleep well and don't let the bed bugs bite !

1st wallet card

I dont know how it actually works making a wallet card i did one a long time ago with a cd in it of images for someone of docrafts that was me making one up now i had a premade template which i wasnt that happy with so i changed it slightly.

as above shows the finished wallet card. i used a gsd file of a swirl which i made allot smaller and embossed with clear powder to make the colour allot stronger and the sentiment was from the do crafts range. The paper was from a scrapbook download which is so pretty i just had to use it.

is the same paper matted and layered and also added a verse which i will add later as it made me smile. to keep it secure i added some Velcro which was self adhesive which was also alot easier

Bad week

My week has been horrendous.

Work has been pure hell thanks to a mistake i made well i think it was silly as i could have been easily sorted out and yet i forgot about it and what could have happened didnt happen but we was still uncovered in a job that can not be uncovered. I feel really bad about it and work are investigating it as we speak so who knows what will happen, i hope and pray the union rep will be able to find out whats going on for me. People say and asumme my job is not stressful but at times it can be when covering sickness and shifts that people dont want to work or dont want to do 12 hours ( it can be hard and deflating) but you have to do your best and remain postive which u can see im not feeling hsppy about it.

My friend has also found out who her true friends are and im starting to agree with her that some friends arent worth it and should be treated how they treat you. but i try and see good in everyone and it hurts when people crap on you and treat you like dirt.

I did some baking last night some blueberry muffins, as you can see one is missing thats me eating muffins when they have just come out the oven. I will add the recipe later x

its for a lady called Mary who won the cd when i offered my blog candy to. with all the problems at home and work i havent had time to send it out till today but this has now gone with some goodies and the cd.

The image was a psp tube which was converted to a png and the stamp was hero arts and finished with a flower and a gem brad and then the photo was just emblished with glitter and some diamond glaze.

Evening all :)

its been a busy week at work with my boss leaving, which was such a sad day as he was a fair and great big boss its a shame that my work couldnt have kept him after all the experence and all the time he knew about the railway now he is in limbo land so to speak where he hasnt got another job and is looking. i really hope he can find a new job soon.

Thursday was a sad day Nicks uncles ladyfriend has sadly passed away she lost the battle of cancer at 530pm. we all knew it was coming and for her to get this far was such a great achivemment she will be missed xRIP Angela now you will be in no more pain and in a better place

Friday and Saturday was busy with food shopping and doing the rolls for airsoft which we own a site, very simular to paintballing but 10 times better. we had over 100 people there great weather and a good day had from all.

the rest of the weekend has been a blur as one saturday a month i do it and im so tired we dont cook we get home have a bath and order take out

Sunday was spent with housework and ironing and cooking the dinner as someone in the house namly Nick couldnt be arsed to help me so i just did it makes me think at times how selfish he can be but thats men for you.

Baby Cards for Pcu forum

this was a compertition i did not think i would get time to do this but for some reason my ideas was coming out and working so i thought why not. these cards are going to a friends to help out with the chairty work she does. i hope she likes them.

The card above was a image from Ruth moorehead i have loads of her psp tubes and they print out lovely so had to convert it over lol. the backing paper is from the docrafts new danilion and thingy range and the sequin flowers was a on a string for 1.00 a metre so bargin and the nestie shape was a robo cut. the stamp was from the clair curd range.

The other card above was a yellow cardstock, the image again was a pap tube converted over and matted layered and also with diamond glaze over to highlight areas and then used the cuttlebug words to cut out little blessings.

The image was a pap tube converted which i think is so sweet. the flower was free with a magazine last month and a brad with a gem in the middle and the stamp stamping up again.

I hate doing these type of cards as never know if the person is religious or not so i opted for a netrual theme.

The image was from one of my psp tubes which i convered over to a png and the printed out and layered onto silver card stock and pink card stock. the swirl was from teh robo just made it alot smaller. the stamp is from the stamping up range. and finally just added a hint of glitter glue to the roses the doves are flying with.

Last weekend we had a little guest stay at my parents and me being me thought right i can get a nice new photo for my blog and also some photos for the scrapbook i am starting very soon.

She is just coming up to being 5 months old on the 8th April and i have to say i love her to bits. even though she looks at me like i am a crazy woman singing her songs that i cant remember the words to, so like many craft projects i impervise the whole family was laughing when i was singing the wheels on the bus. but i dont care it settled little isabell and i fed her a bottle.

I am completely in love with her and i know oneday i hope that god will grace me with a child for us to cherish.

Friendship Card for Gill

This is a card which i am so happy with.

the stamp is one of Milly from Janet Robert's designs which is so lovely. i added extra dimension by layering all the clothes and adding some gems as buttons and lastly some diamond glaze to give the spots on her dress some effect.

The balloon was also layered and given the diamond glaze over and then for the tie it was a really think piece of gold wire.

Sentiment was from Clair curds range which stamp really well.
